Mobile Application Developer

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Mobile App Tester to join our team, working closely with our client on the development and enhancement of mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation and experience in both iOS and Android platforms. This role will involve creating and managing automated test cases, integrating testing processes into CI/CD pipelines, and generating detailed reports on test coverage and results.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation Development: Design and develop automated end-to-end test cases using the Eggplant tool to ensure comprehensive coverage of mobile applications.
• Script Creation: Create helper scripts that aid in the automation of testing processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in testing workflows.
• CI/CD Integration: Work on the integration of automated testing into existing CI/CD pipelines, facilitating seamless app releases across web, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Reporting: Visualize test coverage and results, producing detailed reports that provide insights into testing effectiveness and application performance.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Certification: A valid ISTQB Certified Tester certificate is mandatory.
• Agile Methodologies: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban, with a strong understanding of the definitions of ready and done, as well as acceptance criteria.
• Version Control: At least 5 years of experience using Git for version control.
• Container Technologies: A minimum of 3 years’ experience with container technologies, demonstrating proficiency in managing and deploying containers.
• Test Automation Development: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing test automation for applications, whether on web, iOS, or Android platforms.
• Eggplant Proficiency: At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Eggplant and Sensetalk for test automation.
• Matrix Protocol: A minimum of 2 years of experience with the Matrix Protocol, specifically in the context of Android, iOS, and web applications.
