Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities
Create and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school guidelines
Deliver engaging and effective instruction to Year 1 students promoting active participation and academic growth
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles
Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experiences
Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement schoolwide initiatives and programs
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development
Year 1 Teacher Requirements
Hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Proven experience in teaching Year 1 students including knowledge of the national curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students colleagues and parents
Strong organisational and administrative abilities to manage lesson planning assessments and reporting
Passionate about education and dedicated to fostering a love for learning in young students
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students and respond to changes in the educational environment
