Job Description
UX Designer/Developer
Role: US Developer/Designer Location: Onshore (Chicago US)
W2 or 1099 Only
Technical Skills:
UI/UX Design: Expertise in UI/UX design principles and the development of intuitive user interfaces focusing on data visualization.
Power BI: Proficiency in Power BI including customizing visuals designing dashboards and optimizing user experience within Power BIs constraints.
FrontEnd Development: Experience with HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript for frontend development and design integration.
Prototyping Tools: Proficient with design and prototyping tools such as Figma Adobe XD or Sketch for creating wireframes and prototypes.
Usability Testing: Experience in conducting usability testing gathering feedback and iterating designs to improve user experience.
Crossfunctional collaboration: Familiar with Agile processes and the ability to work closely with product managers developers and data teams.
Role Expectations:
UserCentered Design: Lead the design of intuitive userfriendly interfaces that facilitate seamless navigation and data exploration within Power BI and custom alert systems.
Dashboard Design: Design and improve Power BI dashboards to ensure operational data is presented in a way that is accessible and actionable for all users including operators and plant leadership.
Prototype and Test: Develop and iterate on wireframes prototypes and user flows. Conduct usability tests to ensure that the design meets user needs and aligns with business objectives.
CrossTeam Collaboration: Collaborate with Data Analysts Alerts Developers and Business stakeholders to ensure design choices support data visualization and user interaction goals.
Responsive Design: Ensure that all dashboards and interfaces are responsive accessible across devices and optimized for both desktop and mobile usage.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on UI/UX trends Power BI capabilities and best practices in data visualization. Apply these insights to continually enhance user experiences.
Documentation & Design Systems: Create and maintain design documentation style guides and patterns that ensure consistency and scalability of the UI/UX elements across various platforms.
