Maintenance mechanics perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. They check system functionality by running diagnostic tests. They also use power and hand tools (e.g. hosts and cranes) to install new systems and replace defective parts.
Were seeking an experienced licensed 433A Millwright to join a stateoftheart automotive manufacturing facility in Toronto Ontario Canada. As a key member of the maintenance team youll be responsible for installing aligning and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Your expertise will ensure seamless production operations for tier 1 automotive clients.
Responsibilities:
Interpret diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Install align and move machinery according to layout plans
Inspect and repair machinery and equipment
Perform welding and operate machine tools as required
Participate in lean activities
Qualifications
5 years of experience as a Millwright preferred
Current Ontario 433A Millwright Ticket
Knowledge and experience with:
Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Gear boxes and conveyor systems
Gear pumps and diaphragm pumps
Ability to work with chemicals and at heights
Experience in equipment troubleshooting
Availability to work all shifts (days afternoons nights)
