Job Description
Our OFSTED Outstanding secondary school in Ealing seeks a talented and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Art lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of art creativity and critical thinking.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of art history techniques and contemporary art movements.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts department and contribute to schoolwide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for art and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
