Job Description
Our wellrespected secondary school in Richmond seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the chance to shape the future of young scientists and foster a lifelong appreciation for the biological sciences.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Biology lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and safe learning environment that fosters a love of exploration critical thinking and scientific understanding.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core biological principles practical laboratory skills and problemsolving abilities.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department and contribute to schoolwide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Biology or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for biology and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
