Job Description
Our outstanding secondary school in West London is seeking a passionate and experienced English teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons tailored to the needs of highachieving students.
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of literature language and critical thinking.
- Guide students in developing a deep understanding of core English principles literary analysis and creative expression.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel and beyond) at the highest levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the English department and across other disciplines to create a holistic learning experience.
- Contribute to the schools ongoing success and participate in extracurricular activities related to English.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for English literature and language with a captivating teaching style.
