About Us
Panaz is an awardwinning marketleading supplier of textiles for hospitality healthcare and workspace customers. This role is based in Burnley on Network 65 working 8 am5 pm Monday through Thursday and finishing at 2 pm on Fridays.
Role Overview: Warehouse Operative for Fabrics in Burnley
The Warehouse Operative will be an integral part of our team responsible for moving heavy fabric rolls around the warehouse either by hand or using FLT.
- Move large fabric rolls by hand and by FLT from lorry to shelf shelf to production team production team to shelf.
- Use scanners and systems to book instock.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to maintain an orderly and efficient warehouse environment.
- Maintain health and safety regulations promoting a safe workspace for all employees.
- Follow all established warehouse procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment.
- Reliable &committed (joining a longstanding team).
- Use of scanners and complicated computer systems.
- FLT certificate.
- Able to perform heavy lifting and handle large fabric rolls repetitively.
- Reliability and commitment to consistently deliver highquality work.
- Good health and safety awareness with a common sense approach to problemsolving.
- Effective team player with excellent communication skills.
