Job Description
Our renowned girls school in Richmond is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Geography teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and empower young women to achieve their full potential in Geography.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and inclusive Geography lessons tailored to the needs of girls across all year groups.
- Cultivate a supportive and empowering learning environment that fosters a love of exploration critical thinking and geographical inquiry.
- Guide students in developing a deep understanding of geographical concepts analytical skills and practical applications.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel and beyond).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Geography department and across other disciplines to create a holistic learning experience.
- Contribute to the schools academic excellence and participate in extracurricular activities related to Geography.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Geography or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Geography and a commitment to empowering young women to achieve their full potential.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a singlesex learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and individual strengths.
