Job Description
Our renowned school in West London is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Geography teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Geography lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of exploration critical thinking and geographical inquiry.
- Guide students in developing a deep understanding of geographical concepts analytical skills and practical applications.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel and beyond).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Geography department and across other disciplines to enhance the curriculum and create a holistic learning experience.
- Contribute to the schools academic excellence and participate in extracurricular activities related to Geography.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Geography or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Geography and a proven track record of success in raising student achievement.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a highachieving environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
