As part of the suite of Crimson business divisions newly founded Delta Institute offers a suite of extra/supercurricular related products with a clear focus on equipping students with the delta factor in their profiles. Delta Institute comprises of:
Delta Careers:The purpose of this unit is offering and facilitating unique work experience opportunities for high school students. These are cohort based work experience opportunities in partnership with top global companies. We offer a twofold educational product:
Upskilling: Crimson works with mentors from top fortune 500 companies to offer a foundational setting to learn practical careers skills in specific domains. For every workexperience program students upskill in two programspecific modules (e.g. Product Management and UI/UX Design). There is also a core module called Careers Toolkit where students immerse in corporate communications and build teamworking and teambonding skills; projectbased work skills; leadership skills; and more. In each module there is rigorous both formative and summative assessment involved.
CaseStudy: Crimson partners with top global companies to offer a projectbased experience where students will be able to create actual impact through the partner companies. The likes of Uber PwC Dentons Stripe and Ferrari. Divided in teams they work on a companyassigned casestudy for the whole month of the program and present their work in front of company representatives at a final pitchnight assembly.
Delta Launch: Delta Launch is designed to offer high school students a comprehensive set of extracurricular experiences that not only enhance their skills but also add significant value to their college or university applications.
With Delta Launch students can dive into two distinct skillbuilding programs:
Delta AI & Code: This program gives students handson experience in AI and coding. They will create their first AI project and develop their first coding solution gaining practical skills in technology fields that are in high demand. Delta AI & Code prepares students for future academic challenges and career opportunities in STEM fields by equipping them with realworld projectbased experience.
Delta Inspire: In Delta Inspire students learn how to start their own podcast or organize a TEDx event. This program focuses on practical communication event planning and media production skills. By the end of the program students will have produced a tangible outcomea podcast or TEDx eventthat they can showcase in their portfolios and college applications demonstrating their initiative creativity and leadership.
Overall Delta Institute products aim at empowering students to reach new heights bringing all the delta in their (university) application profiles. This role will be focusing on overseeing the management growth and scaling of the Delta Institute division and its suite of units/products.

What is this role responsible for
We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Code Mentors to join our program aimed at teaching high school students. As a Code Mentor you will guide students through coding projects foster their creativity and help them develop practical skills in one or more of the following fields: Web Development App Development Game Development or Data Analytics.
Applicants can apply for one or more fields based on their expertise. Please indicate in your application which field(s) you are interested in mentoring.
These roles are parttime and hourly and can be done remotely working with students based around the world.
This role will include
- Working closely with a variety of students based across the world including the US Asia Australia and Europe.
- Maintaining reasonable levels of communication with students outside of formal sessions
Fields of Mentorship:
1. Web Development
Teach students to build websites and web applications using technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
2. App Development
Mentor students in creating mobile applications for iOS and Android using frameworks such as Flutter or React Native. Guide them through UI/UX design app logic and device integration.
3. Game Development
Help students explore the world of game creation from designing game mechanics to developing interactive games using Unity Godot or other popular game engines.
4. Data Analytics
Lead students through the fundamentals of data analysis including working with Python or R using libraries like Pandas and teaching them how to interpret and visualize data for realworld applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Engaging Lessons
Conduct 1:1 and group mentoring sessions with high school students providing handson guidance in your area(s) of expertise.
- Support ProjectBased Learning
Help students apply what they learn by guiding them through project creationwhether its building a website developing a mobile app creating a game or analyzing data.
- Personalised Mentorship
Tailor your teaching to meet the needs and skill levels of each student. Offer encouragement advice and constructive feedback throughout their learning journey.
- Facilitate Learning Outcomes
Ensure students understand key concepts complete projects and develop skills that they can showcase in college applications or portfolios.
- Track Progress
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback. Use mentorship tools to support their growth and help them overcome challenges.
Requirements:
- Expertise in One or More Fields
Applicants must have indepth knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Web Development App Development Game Development or Data Analytics. Experience in multiple fields is a plus.
- Teaching or Mentoring Experience
Prior experience teaching or mentoring students especially at the high school level is preferred. Experience with virtual teaching platforms is a bonus.
- Strong Communication Skills
Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to students with varying levels of coding experience. Must be patient approachable and enthusiastic about mentoring.
- ProjectBased Learning Approach
Familiarity with guiding students through projectbased learning helping them create tangible outcomes and showcasing their work.
- Passion for Coding and Education
A genuine interest in helping students develop coding skills with a focus on creativity problemsolving and realworld applications.
Qualifications:
- Experience with popular web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript React Vue etc.).
- Experience with mobile app frameworks .
- Experience with game development engines.
- Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages (Python R Pandas etc.).
Nice to have
- Willingness to participate in designing curriculum and course materials for and Coding foundation and projects including lectures presentations and practical exercises.
- Oxbridge/ Ivy League graduate or Industry experts.
