Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Focus Area

Get results through individual contribution effort and self management

Operational / Functional

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and reconcile with sales data to ensure adequate stock is available.
  • Coordinate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Order Processing:

  • Process purchase orders and requisitions to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Handle returns and exchanges of defective or damaged items.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain inventory records and update inventory databases or systems.
  • Generate daily weekly and monthly reports on inventory levels stock movements and discrepancies.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and anticipate future inventory needs.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize inventory procedures.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding shipment and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to fulfill orders and resolve issues.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Implement improvements in inventory management processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to reduce inventory holding costs while maintaining service levels.

Qualification:

Bachelors degree in business administration logistics supply chain management or a related field is preferred.

Certification in inventory management (e.g. CPIM) is a plus.

Experience:

5 Years relevant experience

Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Inventory Coordinator or similar role.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. SAP Oracle) and proficiency in MS Office especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
