Position Description:
Responsible for architecting and implementing cloudbased solutions that meet company needs and requirements including designing and configuring cloud infrastructure such as compute network storage and security components. The Cloud Services IT Architect also plays a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of cloud environments.
Responsibilities Include:

Architect and implement cloudbased solutions that meet company needs and requirements based on standards and bestpractices.

Design and configure costeffective cloud infrastructure such as compute network storage and security components.

Implement security best practices ensuring data privacy and managing access controls.

Work closely with cybersecurity teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
-
Optimize performance and costefficiency by analyzing and optimizing cloud resource utilization monitoring performance metrics and recommending improvements to enhance scalability and costeffectiveness.

Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design and implement cloudnative applications.
-
Provide technical guidance and support to clients and thirdparty stakeholders.

Ability to report and escalate financial reports on company cloud consumption and usage to control costs.

Develop and maintain documentation and standards related to cloud infrastructure and solutions.
-
Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
-
Manage cloud service providers and vendors to ensure service level agreements are met.
-
Provide cost and budget estimates for cloudbased solutions and services.
-
Participate in project planning and execution to ensure cloudbased solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

Provide training and support to internal staff on cloudbased solutions and services.

Help develop and participate in company DevSecOps frameworks and support models.
Experience Requirement:
-
A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and design with a solid background in architecting and implementing cloudbased solutions as well as a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms and services.

Previous experience working in complex enterprise environments.

Expertise in data privacy risk management vulnerability assessments and incident management.

Technical leadership skills

Experience communicating complex technical concepts to nontechnical audiences and provide guidance and recommendations on cloudrelated matters.

Must hold and/or be able to pass security clearance requirements background investigation reference and credentials verification.
Advanced knowledge of:

Cloud security best practices compliance requirements and data privacy regulations

Analysis and optimization of cloud resource utilization monitoring performance metrics and recommending improvements to enhance scalability and costeffectiveness.

Capabilities and services offered by cloud service providers (including healthcare specific cloud solutions) and knowledge of the features limitations and pricing models of different cloud service providers.

Migration of onpremise systems to the cloud and integrating cloudbased solutions with existing IT infrastructure

Compliance and risk management including security privacy and regulatory requirements and ability to assess and manage risks associated with cloud environments.

Cloudnative application development DevOps practices and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Cloud networking concepts virtual private networks (VPNs) firewalls and other security measures to ensure the secure and reliable communication between cloud resources.

Cloud compliance frameworks and standards such as HIPAA PCI DSS and GDPR and ability to ensure that cloud environments meet these requirements.

Knowledge of various healthcare related code sets such as CPT4 ICD9/10 LOINC SNOMED.
