As a Senior DevOps Engineer / Tech Lead you will
- Oversee and lead the DevOps practices and processes within the organization.
- Develop and implement DevOps strategies for the organization.
- Mentor and lead a team of DevOps engineers to deliver solutions.
- Work with development and operations teams to automate software delivery processes.
- Identify and implement tools and processes to improve software development and delivery.
- Actively seek solutions to customer needs communicate trends to leadership and suggest innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions making recommendations for enhancements or modifications as needed.
- Help deploy our software stack to Fortune 500 clients servers.
- Participate in the design of Multiverses toolbox interface.
- Join a worldclass team of Quantum experts with an extensive track record in both academia and industry.
- Collaborate with the founding team in a fastpaced startup environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science or related field; alternatively significant work experience as a Software Engineer.
- 8 years of experience working as DevOps Engineer with expertlevel skills in AWS. Candidates with AWS certifications will be prioritized.
- Proven experience as Cloud Solutions Architect.
- Experience mentoring and leading teams of DevOps engineers
- Solid understanding and knowledge of DevOps practices. Handson experience required in development deployment and production environments.
- Extensive experience in largescale secure and high availability solutions in the AWS cloud using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to support deployment scaling monitoring and configuration management.
- Experience designing & building solutions within the AWS ecosystem. Strong competence in AWS EC2 EKS Fargate Lambda CloudFront S3 and other supporting services.
- High competence with AWS Well Architected Framework
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (i.e. GitLab CI GitHub Actions Jenkins or similar)
- Advanced level of expertise in deploying monitoring and maintaining Kubernetes clusters as well as experience deploying applications to Kubernetes (EKS) using Helm charts. Candidates with CKA and/or CKAD certifications will be prioritized. Experience with Rancher or similar K8s management tools is desirable.
- Competency with service meshes preferably Istio Gateway
- Experience deploying SaaS solutions.
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages (Bash Python Go etc).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of infrastructure and security issues.
- Superb communication skills in English and a passion for working collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservice deployment and monitoring.
- Experience working with different public cloud providers (GCP MS Azure) and hybrid or onpremises environments.
- Database experience with relational databases preferably PostgreSQL
- DevSecOps expertise with proven experience with SAST DAST SIEM SSO penetration testing implementing cybersecurity controls and promoting security best practices
- Experience designing and deploying Infrastructure to support machine learning and data analytics solutions to support our MLOps practice
- Experience creating and administering release management processes and integration with source control management and best practices.
