Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting medication systems etc.) Fetal monitors suction oxygen vital signs monitors OBIX documentation and centralized monitoring for L&D EPIC for gyns. Required skills and minimum years of experience. L&D M/B gyn care. fetal monitoring. 3 years L&D. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS NRP ACLS (STABLE preferred) Shift or schedule requirements. 12 hour nights with some days. Weekends required. Floating to over units/departments. Helping hands in NB nursery and NICU. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 19 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 1:1 or 1:2 for L&D 1:3 mom/baby couplets 4 gyns. combination of mom/babies and gyns 1:56. Dress Code: navy blue scrubs for gyn and mom/baby care or hospital provided scrubs for L&D Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. 36 hours orientation for travelers. |
Comments:12 hour. Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday. *This location does not take local candidates. Must reside more than 80 miles away from the facility*
