Position: Data Analyst / Merchant Partner D3 (9963)
Duration: 05 Months (High Chances of Extension or Conversion)
Location: Remote (Weekends Possible Potential Schedule: Monday Friday (7 hours/day); Sat (5 hours) 40 hours/week)
Job Description:
Conduct primary investigation into orderlevel issues and escalations by:
- Looking up order and associated events in internal DoorDash systems
- Comparing data from multiple systems to determine order status and issue path
- Input information into SQL queries and draw insights from responses
- Communicate findings to DD internal teams and/or DD merchants
Review DD merchant claims for order refunds and determine claim approval/denial by:
- Learning the conditions required to approve/deny a refund claim
- Looking up order and associated events in internal DoorDash systems and simple SQL queries
Determine if the claim requirements are met What were looking for:
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets mandatory
- Basic Need: Understand excel formulas data entry
- Preferred: Comfortable w/ Pivot Tables cleaning data and Experience using SQL mandatory
- Basic Need: Running queries and extracting insights
- Preferred: Modifying and running queries with basic functions (select group calculations joins)
- Ability to be comfortable in a fastpaced environment making quick decisions escalating issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong project management and organization
- Previous Work History: customer support data analytics
