Job Description

Tasks

  • Testing of new molds before use in Production
  • Establishment of Molding Documents for new products (Molding Specification Procedure and etc.)
  • Conducts mold inspection for new mold and quarterly checkup of existing molds
  • Assists on Mold Repair/Maintenance
  • Handles Mold Spare Parts Inventory
  • Handles Mold Control (Storage Inventory and etc.)
  • Initiate projects/Kaizen that will benefit the company especially molding
  • Conducts monitoring of Fcost top contributor item
  • Analyzes the root cause of the Quality Issues encountered on Fcost top contributors item
  • Monitoring of 5M (Man Material Machine Mold Method) for encountered abnormal conditions and changepoints (intentional or unintentional) during production.
  • Recommendation and evaluation of corrective and/or preventive actions for problems encountered and giving of support for implementation by process owners.
  • Follow company rules and regulations and practice the companys best practices (5S Horenso Yokoten Kaizen etc.).

Requirements

  • Graduate of either Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Possesses work experience of at least 23 years in manufacturing setup.
  • Has knowledge in 5M (Material Manpower Method Machine Mold)
  • Has knowledge in the mechanism how the defects are produced.
  • Computer literate.
  • Open for improvement.
  • Willing to render long hours of work.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time by superiors.
