Job Description
Job Title: Database Developer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and optimize database structures and schemas for applications.
- Write efficient and scalable SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures triggers and scripts to support application functionality.
- Collaborate with software developers and data analysts to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Monitor database performance troubleshoot issues and implement necessary improvements.
- Ensure data integrity security and compliance with industry standards.
- Create and maintain documentation for database designs processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in database development with a strong focus on SQL and relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server).
- Proficiency in database design normalization and optimization techniques.
- Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB Cassandra) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
