Job Description
Job Title: IT Specialist (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to endusers for hardware and software issues.
- Install configure and maintain IT equipment including servers workstations and networking devices.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data security and integrity.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support ongoing IT projects.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in IT support or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Linux macOS) and networking protocols.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA ServiceNow) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
