Roles and responsibilities
- Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
- Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.
- Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
- Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.
- Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
- Monitoring social media and company website metrics.
- Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.
- Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.
- Creative thinking to develop unique content ideation and writing for the digital landscape: short form copies, viral content creation, influencer marketing, social media, etc Come up with an insight and turn a brief to a digital creative idea or campaign, ensuring the brand and platform is at the heart of the idea. Work cross functionally with the content strategist on briefs to conceptualize and execute the strategy in a creative direction to drive awareness, reach and engagement. Brief and work closely with the designer to make your ideas come to life with a visual representation and provide constructive feedback when necessary. Proactively recommend content opportunity ideas for existing clients and potential clients.
Desired candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communications or any related field. 2-4 years of experience in content creation, creative writing or any related field. Strong command of written Arabic and English with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to generate innovative ideas and think outside the box to create engaging content. Meticulous approach to editing and proofreading content for accuracy and quality. Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and other digital tools. Understanding of SEO principles and best practices to optimize content for search engines. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Good knowledge of analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions.* A portfolio showcasing your previous content creation work, demonstrating your writing skills, creativity, and ability to engage an audience.
