Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Welding Inspector to ensure quality through visual dimensional and process inspections of welds and components. This is a directhire role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inprocess and final inspections of welded parts and components
- Issue Nonconformance Reports and provide feedback to manufacturing teams
- Record inspection results in manufacturing software systems
- Verify weld processes align with approved procedures
- Use precision tools (calipers micrometers optical comparators XRF scanner) for inspections
- Inspect piping tubing and fittings for leaks and specification adherence
- Understand and interpret blueprints specifications and customer drawings
- Recommend updates to procedures based on findings
- Shifts from 6am2:30pm
Qualifications
- Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) certification required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with Visual Inspection preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
