JOB TITLE: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

REPORTS TO: Clinical Director Associate Clinical Director
SUMMARY:
The BCBA works with the Clinical Director the Associate Clinical Directors a team of BCBAs and RBTs to provide a range of applied behavior analytic (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children with Autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. The BCBA provides training to caregivers supervision to RBTs and conducts behavioral assessments to aid in the creation of individualized skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans. Every BCBA is required to adhere to the BACB s Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts as well as all regulatory and statutory rules of the Board of Medicine for the State of Illinois. The BCBA maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Director of Operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing clinicbased ABA services to clients
- Works directly with clients to assess create and implement skill acquisition goals and/or behavior reduction goals
- Create and implement parent training goals and training.Parent training: minimum requirement is 2 contacts per month with each family on caseload
- Provide ongoing supervision to support clients and behavior therapists.
- Supervision: standard requirement is 15% of total client hours should be supervised
- Make ongoing program updates: updated regularly and continuously based on data
- Complete all deadline related tasks and submit to supervisor on time
- Communicate effectively with all members of the Roots team
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly supervises employees (RBT team members) within the ABA department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees on client programming; appraising performance; providing verbal and written feedback to employees.

- The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 20 pounds
Requirements
- Masters Degree (MA) or equivalent
- BCBA Certification or eligible to sit for the exam within 3 months
- Computer skills required: (Google systems Doc Sheets etc. Central Reach or other online data collection/billing systems)
- Must have completed the standards for supervision as required by the BACB
- Minimum of 2 years experience providing ABA in applied setting; proven supervisory experience
