Market and Client Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential markets and clients, ensuring strategic alignment with the organization's goals.
Investment Opportunity Assessment: Source new investment opportunities and perform comprehensive risk/return evaluations to determine their viability and alignment with investment criteria.
Client Engagement: Actively meet with potential clients and investors to build relationships, understand their needs, and present investment opportunities.
Due Diligence Coordination: Lead and facilitate due diligence processes, ensuring that all necessary evaluations are completed efficiently and effectively.
Financial Modeling and Valuation: Develop detailed financial models to assess the feasibility of investment opportunities and conduct pricing and valuation exercises to support decision-making.
Data Integration: Collaborate with various business units within the organization to gather, review, and integrate technical, operational, and commercial data, which will be utilized in tender submissions and investment deliverables.
Proposal Development: Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals, negotiating terms with clients to secure favorable agreements
Legal Collaboration: Work closely with legal counsel to review and draft transaction-related legal documents, ensuring compliance and protection for the organization.
Investment Execution Oversight: Supervise the execution of new investment opportunities, ensuring adherence to established processes and successful implementation.
Reporting for Stakeholders: Prepare detailed reports as required by investors and other stakeholders, providing insights into investment performance and other key metrics.
Performance Monitoring: Conduct budget variance analyses for ongoing projects, monitoring their performance against established benchmarks and addressing any discrepancies.
Internal Reporting: Draft presentations and reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and conciseness in communication.
Client Relationship Management: Manage and nurture relationships with the existing network of clients and investors, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring client satisfaction.
Non-Industry Investment Evaluation: Assess and assist in evaluating non-industry investments undertaken by the group, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess 3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar field. Experience in project finance is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, is essential. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently while showcasing strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of responding promptly to various situations and adhering to deadlines effectively.
