The Product Lead for the Business Unit's Point of Care (POC) and Molecular Diagnostics (MDx) is tasked with steering the strategic direction and execution of these business lines across Eastern Europe, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Israel. This role necessitates close collaboration with territory Business Managers and BU Regional Marketing to define and implement key global initiatives, including strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, and go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to formulate and execute regional strategies and plans for the POC and MDx business units, working closely with territory Business Managers. This involves developing strategic components such as value propositions, market positioning, customer segmentation, differentiation strategies, clinical applications, operational requirements, competitive intelligence, and an in-depth understanding of the market landscape.
The role requires regular interaction with various stakeholders, including Cluster Business Managers, Marketing Managers, administrative staff, customer care teams, and distributor representatives across the designated regions. These collaborations are essential for aligning business strategies with local needs and market dynamics.
The Product Lead is also responsible for defining and deploying global initiatives, which encompass strategic planning, prioritizing the product portfolio, creating business cases, and executing global go-to-market processes. This is achieved through collaboration with Business Managers and BU Regional Marketing to ensure that all initiatives are coherent and effective.
In addition to strategic development, the Product Lead implements these strategies into actionable plans aimed at generating leads and fostering additional business opportunities. These tactical plans involve direct marketing initiatives and the creation of supportive materials for the sales force. The initiatives span various channels, including conferences, exhibitions, and user meetings, which serve as platforms for engagement and brand promotion.
Strong commercial leadership and product management capabilities are essential, as the role involves extensive interaction with Cluster Business Managers, Cluster Marketing Managers, Regional Marketing Managers, and other functions within both EMEA and global teams. The ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams is crucial to drive the success of the POC and MDx lines of business in these varied regions.
