Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Project Manager to lead the rollout of SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) as part of an existing footprint program. This exciting opportunity involves implementing SAP solutions at our client’s sites in the Czech Republic and China over the next six months.

The successful candidate will initially focus on the Czech rollout, which is scheduled to continue until February, before transitioning to the project in China. This role requires extensive experience in SAP project management, particularly within the manufacturing sector, and a strong background in SAP APO, PP, or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the successful deployment of SAP APO PPDS across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders in various time zones to facilitate smooth communication and project execution.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of SAP templates, leveraging best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives that optimize processes and maximize the value of SAP solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English are crucial, as the Project Manager will need to articulate complex concepts clearly and engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP, with a strong emphasis on hands-on expertise in SAP APO, PP, or IBP.
• At least 5 years of project management experience specifically related to SAP implementations, with proven success in delivering rollouts or deployments.
• Demonstrated experience managing global projects, navigating the complexities of working with diverse teams across different geographical locations.
• Familiarity with various project methodologies and tools, enabling flexibility and adaptability in managing project lifecycles.
