Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Sales Manager to join our global team, focusing on the Automotive Replacement market across Southeast Europe and the Adriatic region. This remote position allows you to work from any SEE and ADRIA country, reporting directly to our Regional Sales Manager SEE.

As a key player in this dynamic role, you will spearhead our sales efforts in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, and Greece. Your strategic planning and execution will be essential in maximizing our presence in these territories, making this an exciting opportunity for candidates with a background in the Automotive Aftermarket.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for several crucial tasks. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing customers and potential prospects, ensuring a thorough understanding of the activities and trends within your district. Keeping a pulse on market trends and customer feedback will enable you to enhance our service offerings effectively.

Additionally, you will handle all aspects of follow-up with jobbers, garages, and distributors, managing all related administrative activities. Your ability to scope the market will be vital; understanding competitive dynamics, product requirements, and customer needs will empower you to effectively present the unique advantages of Gates products.


Desired candidate profile

About You:

To excel in this position, you should possess a university degree in economics, technical fields, company law, or a related discipline. A strong foundation in commercial and technical skills, coupled with at least five years of field experience in the automotive sector, is essential. As a self-motivated individual and a proactive problem-solver, you will thrive in this role.

Fluency in English is a must, along with proficiency in one of the Central and Eastern European (CEE) languages. Your market knowledge and ability to navigate complex situations will be critical as you identify new opportunities and respond to competitive pressures.
