The candidate will be responsible for developing sophisticated financial models and undertaking feasibility and pricing exercises to determine accurate valuations, enabling informed investment strategies.
Collaboration with various business units is crucial for integrating technical, operational, and commercial data, which is essential for preparing tender and investment deliverables. The role also includes preparing and submitting bids and proposals, engaging in negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms. Structuring and arranging debt and equity transactions are important aspects, requiring strong negotiation skills with creditors to achieve beneficial financing solutions.
Drafting internal presentations and reports is another significant responsibility, as these documents serve to inform and align internal teams on strategic initiatives and investment activities. Maintaining strong relationships and effective communication with the existing network of clients and investors is crucial for fostering trust and ongoing collaboration.
In addition to these tasks, the role involves the preparation of offering circulars and other marketing materials aimed at effectively communicating investment opportunities to stakeholders. Working closely with legal counsel is also necessary to review and draft transaction-related documents, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation in all agreements.
The candidate will oversee the execution of new investment opportunities, monitoring progress and performance closely. Regular reporting to investors and stakeholders is expected, highlighting key metrics and project updates. Conducting budget variance analyses for ongoing projects will help in tracking financial performance and making necessary adjustments.
Qualifications Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess 3-4 years of relevant experience, ideally in a similar field with a focus on project finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, is essential for data analysis and presentation preparation. The ability to work independently, demonstrate strong critical thinking, and solve problems efficiently is crucial.
