Job Description

Role Principal Network Engineer

Location Chaska MN (Remote)

Client requested candidates local to Chaska Minnesota (within 3045 minutes at most). This is a remote role but candidates must be willing to be on site only when needed.

NOTE:

For this role were looking for candidates with more than 10 years of experience

Any experience with: Internet Architecture Knowledge: Solid understanding of internet architecture including internet exchange points (IXPs) and transit networks Its a must for this role.

Must have

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in network engineering with a strong focus on internet routing.
  • Internet Architecture Knowledge: Solid understanding of Internet architecture including internet exchange points (IXPs) and transit networks.
  • Network Redundancy and Disaster Recovery: Familiarity with network redundancy failover mechanisms and disaster recovery practices specific to internet routing.
  • Network Security: Experience with network security practices in internet routing including DDoS mitigation IP filtering and secure routing protocols
  • Independence and Communication: Capable of working with minimal guidance on complex tasks and excellent communication skills for effective interaction with leadership peers project managers clients and stakeholders.
