Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 Months Contract
Interview: Webex
Qualifications:
- L3L4 capabilities senior engineer with cross functional knowledge that can guide a team through troubleshooting process end to end
- check connectivity across various end points
- 46 years experience in building IaaC pipelines & Automation
- 25% in architecture and collaboration
- 75% in troubleshooting design build
- Works in lock step with network architect
- Proficiency with network hardware (Cisco Juniper etc.) and software.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP BGP OSPF VLANs etc.).
- Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of security practices and tools such as firewalls VPNs and IDS/IPS
- 24 years of experience in network monitoring
- 46 years of experience with tcp/ip
- 46 years of experience with Cisco CCNA
Job Description:
Responsible for designing implementing and managing our companys network infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the reliability security and efficiency of network systems.
Network Design and Implementation:
- Design develop and deploy scalable reliable and secure network architectures.
- Implement and manage network hardware such as routers switches firewalls and load balancers.
- Ensure network performance through monitoring testing and troubleshooting.
Maintenance and Support:
- Proactively maintain and administer the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor network performance and availability and implement changes as needed.
- Provide highlevel technical support for network issues and collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex problems.
Security:
- Implement and manage security measures to protect network integrity confidentiality and availability.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations processes and changes.
- Prepare reports on network performance incidents and projects for management review.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other IT professionals including systems administrators security experts and software developers to ensure seamless integration of network services.
- Communicate effectively with nontechnical stakeholders to explain networkrelated issues and solutions.
