Job Description

Mathematics Teacher Sought for Esteemed Independent Secondary School in Surrey

They are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join their esteemed faculty. This fulltime permanent position offers a unique platform to cultivate a love for mathematics and inspire the next generation of mathematicians.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Mathematics curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5. The role entails fostering a dynamic and inquirybased learning environment that encourages critical thinking problemsolving skills and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver inspiring Mathematics lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools educational philosophy.
  • Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Mathematics department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Mathematics education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelors degree or higher in Mathematics or a closely related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
