About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and intellectually stimulating Economics lessons for KS3 KS4 and/or KS5 students.
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum and the schools ethos.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters critical thinking problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Effectively assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Economics department and across the wider school to ensure the continuous development of a robust curriculum.
- Remain current with the latest teaching methodologies and developments in the field of Economics.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A strong academic background in Economics with a relevant degree.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Economics.
- Proven experience in teaching Economics at the secondary school level (KS3 KS4 and/or KS5 desirable).
- A demonstrably passionate and engaging teaching style.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
