SENDCo OUTSTANDING Primary School Islington
A prestigious primary school in Islington is seeking an experienced SENDCo to lead the provision for students with special educational needs. Responsibilities
- Oversee the SEN provision ensuring tailored support for students with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and external agencies to develop effective SEN strategies and support plans.
- Lead the SEN team providing guidance and professional development for staff on best practices in SEN.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of SEN students to ensure compliance with national and school standards.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified SENDCo with a National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards it).
- Experience working with children with a diverse range of special educational needs.
- Strong leadership organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to inclusion.
- A clear DBS check and the legal right to work in the UK.
