Music Teacher Sought for Esteemed Secondary School in Lambeth
We are delighted to partner with a distinguished secondary school in Lambeth recognized for its vibrant and inclusive learning environment. They seek a talented and passionate Music Teacher to join their faculty in a fulltime permanent capacity. This position presents an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young musicians fostering a lifelong love of music.
The Position
As a Music Teacher you will be instrumental in developing and delivering a comprehensive music curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that encourages students to explore their musical potential fostering their creativity selfexpression and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement inspiring and innovative music lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the schools educational ethos.
- Cultivate students musical talents through a range of activities including instrumental instruction vocal training music theory and performance opportunities.
- Assess student progress provide constructive feedback and tailor instruction to meet individual needs and learning styles.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Music department and across the school to organize and lead concerts ensembles and other musical events.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and encourages all students to participate in musical activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Music or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
- Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.
- A deep understanding of music theory history and performance practices.
