We are pleased to partner with a highly regarded secondary school in Lambeth that is actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated Business and Economics Teacher. This fulltime permanent position presents a unique opportunity to inspire young minds and equip them with essential knowledge and skills for the modern world.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will play an integral role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Business and Economics curriculum to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. The role entails fostering a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking analytical skills and a sound understanding of business principles and economic concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver captivating Business and Economics lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools educational ethos.
- Create a dynamic classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement participation and independent thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Business and Economics department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current economic trends business developments and pedagogical approaches.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Business Economics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Business and Economics at the secondary level.
