Job Description
The startup DyssolTEC is currently looking for a process engineer to support the development of our process simulation software.
Dyssol is a tool for the simulation of solid processes such as comminution spray drying or tableting in chemical pharmaceutical or food industry. With Dyssol a digital process twin can be created to perform optimization and process planning by simulation. Dyssol simulates and optimizes timedependent processes predicts product properties and enables the integration of userdefined processes. DyssolTEC offers software licenses as well as comprehensive support such as training workshops and development contracts. We are working in close cooperation with the chemical companies BASF and Evonik to revolutionise the process simulation sector.
Tasks
- Development of models for different processes in mining cement and chemical industry (e.g. comminution granulation filter etc.)
- Literature research about existing process models
- Reporting to the team and our customer
- Building your own model development team and managing of working students
Requirements
- University degree in process engineering or computer science with experience in process engineering
- Programming knowledge (Python C or Matlab)
- Experience in modelling and machine learning
- Enthusiastic about digitalization and solids processes
- Willingness to break new ground and think outside the box
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects deadlines and responsibilities
- A collaborative team player dedicated to creating innovative solutions for our customers
- Good communication skills in German or English
