Job Description
Job Title: Java Web Application Architect (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and development of enterpriselevel web applications using Java technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team ensuring adherence to best practices in coding security and performance.
- Design and implement scalable secure and highly available solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Define technical standards guidelines and best practices for web application development.
- Oversee the integration of thirdparty APIs microservices and other backend services.
- Ensure that the architecture aligns with overall business goals and objectives.
- Troubleshoot optimize and enhance existing systems to improve performance and user experience.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends emerging technologies and frameworks and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the development process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in Java development with at least 3 years in a software architect or lead role.
- Strong expertise in Java Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring MVC) Hibernate and related technologies.
- Extensive experience with web technologies including HTML5 CSS JavaScript and frontend frameworks (e.g. Angular React or Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs microservices architecture and web services.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
- Experience in DevOps tools CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git Jenkins).
- Deep knowledge of database systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle) and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience designing and implementing largescale distributed systems with high availability.
- Excellent communication problemsolving and team collaboration skills.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
