Job Description
Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (Texas residents only )
Location: Remote
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform database development tasks including creating views tables and PL/SQL code for the Financial Data Warehouse application.
- Design develop and test new tables views stored procedures and functions to support project needs.
- Develop and test Linux shell scripts to invoke database calls and schedule jobs.
- Optimize database performance identify bottlenecks and implement monitoring solutions.
- Work closely with the team to maintain logical and physical data models with a focus on Oracle.
- Perform performance tuning of new and existing tables views and PL/SQL code.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment to support development lifecycle and produce technical and functional documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- experience in Oracle database design analysis and performance tuning.
- experience with Oracle database structures and data analysis.
- experience designing enterprise applications and/or services.
- experience creating technical and functional design documentation.
- experience within the software development lifecycle including Agile methodology (e.g. Scrum).
- experience with multitier system/application development (e.g. SOA Microservices 3Tier applications).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience using Jira for project tracking.
- Oracle Certification is a plus.
- Experience with data warehouse applications and/or database reporting features.
