Job Description
Position: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Madison WI
Pay scale:
Per Diem : $1330
Weekly Gross : $2770
W2: $36/hr
Shift: Flexible
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Assist the surgical team during surgeries anticipating the needs of surgeons and other team members.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Handle and pass instruments to surgeons during procedures.
- Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
Requirements:
- Pediatric experience required. Strongly preferred experience in Eyes Urology Neuro and Ortho.
- Two (2) years of scrub experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital.
- Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
