Job Overview:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with our facility you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care and support to our patients with developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of our patient.
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care and support to our patient in accordance with established care plans and protocols.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
Monitor and assess the patients condition including vital signs respiratory status and overall wellbeing.
Assist the patient with activities of daily living including bathing grooming and mobility support.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Communicate effectively with the patient family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments interventions and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of New Jersey.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Must have experience with ventilation or respiratory patients.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
Ability to assess and respond effectively to changes in the patients condition.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patientcentered approach to care.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
