As an Insurance Broking Assistant at Ricci & Associates you will play a key role in supporting the insurance broking team in their daytoday operations. You will assist in preparing and processing insurance documentation liaising with clients and insurers and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Assist brokers in managing client relationships by providing prompt and professional service. Respond to client inquiries and provide updates on insurance policies renewals and claims.
- Documentation Management: Prepare review and process insurance documents such as policies endorsements and certificates. Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Renewal Management: Assist with policy renewals by gathering necessary client information preparing renewal documentation and liaising with underwriters to obtain quotes.
- Claims Support: Coordinate with the claims department to assist clients with filing claims. Follow up on claim status and ensure clients are kept informed throughout the process.
- Market Research: Conduct research on insurance products policies and market trends to support the broking team in identifying the best solutions for clients.
- Data Entry & RecordKeeping: Maintain accurate records of client information policies and other relevant documents in the companys database. Ensure that all records are uptodate and properly filed.
- Compliance & Regulations: Assist in ensuring that all broking activities adhere to industry regulations and internal policies. Stay informed about changes in the insurance industry and regulatory requirements.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the broking team including scheduling meetings preparing reports and managing correspondence between clients brokers and insurers.
- Policy Issuance: Assist in the issuance of new policies and endorsements. Coordinate with insurers to ensure timely delivery of policy documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in business finance or related field is a plus).
- Prior experience in insurance customer service or administrative roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
