Roles and responsibilities
The role aims to be recognized as a trusted finance team member. This role supports the finance lead in all training and development activities to develop best-in-class finance professionals and assists in developing their finance team. This role supports a robust control and compliance environment and contributes to implement EMEA Operations Finance innovations and projects.

- Ability to analyze large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections

- Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and regulatory requirements.

General Ledger Maintenance:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, including recording all transactions accurately.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze variances between budgeted and actual figures, providing explanations and insights.
Desired candidate profile
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Skills:
- Technical Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP or IFRS).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and record-keeping.
