Our Client a large Pharmaceutical company is seeking a Kubernetes Engineer who will assist in the migration/integration of multiple companies into the clients current environment. The role will initially be a 6 month contract with the likely conversion to a fulltime hire. This is a remote position but may require to be onsite occasionally in the NYCSuburb office.
All candidates must either be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and EKS (Amazon/Elastic Kubernetes Service)
- Experience with devops tools like ansible and terraform
- Proficiency with Python and shell
- Deep experience with docker rancher kubernetes TLS and certificates
- Expertise in Unix and Linux operating systems specifically Redhat and AWS Linux
- An understanding of OS build processes and standardized configuration
- Ability to work independently with a systems analysis and design/devops methodology
- Experience with platforms such as VM based hosts AWS Ec2 Hosts HP ProLiant and Solaris HW
- An understanding of network and storage infrastructure support from an OS perspective
- Work with compliance teams as needed for solution qualification
