Emergency Medical Technician EMT

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate EMT to join our team in Zanesville Ohio. As an EMT you will play a vital role in providing highquality emergency medical care ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional service in both emergency and nonemergency situations.

Hours and Compensation Potential:

• Fulltime position with 24hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM.
  
• Compensation: $16.25/hr to $22.25/hr based on experience.

What We re Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Certification: EMTB certification and Ohio state certification required.
  
• Continuing Education: Maintain CME requirements per state guidelines.
  

What You ll Be Doing:

• Provide basic life support (BLS) at the scene during transport and in the prehospital environment.
  
• Safely operate ambulances and medical response vehicles.
  
• Respond to emergency and nonemergency transports as directed by the Communications Center.
  
• Perform critical procedures according to medical protocol and independently manage life support activities.
  

Additional Info:

This role involves delivering emergency medical and rescue operations offering basic medical assistance and actively participating in public education training and recruitment efforts. You ll be responsible for mentoring new team members supporting quality improvement initiatives and providing supervision and care to patients.
