Roles and responsibilities
We are looking for a versatile and experienced Product Manager to manage our product portfolio in the MENA region. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of independently running all aspects of product management, business analysis, and quality assurance. This role requires strong expertise in Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, product positioning in the Middle East, and the ability to collaborate with software engineers, recruiters, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collecting requirements, conducting testing, and managing product development using Jira.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the entire product lifecycle, from collecting requirements (reqs) to product launch, focusing on the MENA market.
- Conduct thorough business analysis and collaborate with teams to ensure that product development aligns with business goals and market needs.
- Oversee quality assurance (QA) processes, including conducting rigorous testing to ensure product performance.
- Develop and execute GTM strategies that align with the unique needs of the Middle East market, positioning products effectively for success.
- Serve as a one-person show, managing all aspects of product development, ensuring that timelines are met, and issues are resolved efficiently.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and stakeholders, to ensure alignment on product vision and goals.
- Use Jira for product and project management, tracking progress and managing backlogs.
- Communicate effectively in English and Arabic to keep internal teams and external stakeholders informed and aligned on project milestones.
- Continuously monitor product performance and gather feedback to make data-driven improvements.
Desired candidate profile
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Management experience working with well established organizations.
- 5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst and QA Analyst.
- Expertise in Jira for project and product management.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience developing and executing GTM strategies and product positioning for the MENA market. Must have launched a successful product.
- Ability to work independently and manage the full product lifecycle with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in tech-driven industries, particularly in talent acquisition, SaaS, or recruitment platforms.
- Familiarity with crowdsourcing and AI-driven products is a plus.
