Application Engineer

Our client a distributor and servicer of pumps and related products is seeking an Inside Applications Engineer based in Seattle WA. The company serves a range of industries including OEMs in food aviation transportation utilities and any commercial pump applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Use your technical or engineering background to provide superior customer service offering sales solutions and technical support.
• Customization: Help adapt and customize products to meet specific customer needs though the company does not engage in design/build work.
• Coordination: Work closely with outside sales reps to ensure that the correct equipment is selected ordered and delivered in a timely manner.
• Technical Support: Resolve any technical issues or product failures to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Career Growth: Opportunities to advance to a Territory Manager role with increasing levels of technical complexity and field troubleshooting.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $70K $90K (Up to $120K with a strong background)

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Engineering or technical degree preferred (equivalent experience may be considered).
• Skills: Excellent communication negotiation and computer skills. Knowledge of industrial fluid handling equipment is a strong plus.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a commitment to achieving targeted results.
