Job Description

Position: Finance Director Healthcare

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our clients team in the Nashville TN area. The Finance Director will play a crucial role in the companys financial management and will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic guidance to the executive team.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA
  • Minimum of 5 years forprofit hospital finance experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the companys overall goals and objectives
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to management
  • Prepare and present financial reports including budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial resources
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including investors banks and auditors
  • Lead and manage the finance team providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and provide financial expertise and insights
  • Participate in strategic planning and decisionmaking processes to drive business growth and profitability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; MBA preferred
  • CPA Required
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a financial management role preferably in a Healthcare/Regional Hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles practices and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Proven track record of managing and developing highperforming teams
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
