Job Description

Role: Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer

Duration: Long Term
Location: Remote

Visa: USC & GC only

Job Description:
We are looking for a versatile and highly skilled Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in observability tooling across various channels to enhance availability and expedite incident resolution. The ideal candidate will design implement and lead infrastructure solutions ensuring reliability scalability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide architectural direction configuration and maintenance of mainframe observability tools (e.g. Omegamon Dynatrace Splunk).
  • Participate in oncall rotations for critical infrastructure support.
  • Implement best practices for monitoring logging and alerting.
  • Drive the adoption of implemented tooling.
  • Engage with customers to understand their objectives and solve complex issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience in design and implementation of mainframe and distributed applications.
  • Proficiency in mainframe infrastructure (z/OS z/VM z/Linux) and observability tools.
  • Understanding of customer journeys and disaster recovery planning.
