WordPress Developer
About The Job:
As a Senior WordPress Developer you will work alongside our marketing and development teams to build pixel perfect custom themes for websites eCommerce and portal solutions. This includes working closely with the design and development teams to optimize website performance and ensuring full responsiveness across different devices. The Senior WordPress Developer will also be involved in troubleshooting providing technical support and maintenance on WordPress websites.
This will be a fun and challenging role working with clients of all sizes with our design development and marketing teams. As a valued team member we want you to demonstrate your WordPress skills while growing with our company for a longterm rewarding career.
We will help you sharpen your skills in an agency environment as you apply what you already know about WordPress development.
Qualifications:
- Experience with WPEngine and Pantheon hosting providers
- Familiarity with advanced WordPress deployment concepts such as GIT CI/CD and tools such as Roots.IO
- Experience with WPCLI
- The ability to step in and take over existing projects
- Guttenberg & Elementor experience
- Ability to build and maintain sites with minimal use of plugins
Job Requirements:
- Fullstack WordPress development (Frontend & Backend).
- Proficiency in referencing Figma files for pixel perfect WordPress development.
- Ability to build and maintain sites with minimal use of plugins
- Custom theme development.
- WooCommerce experience.
- Ability to perform functional device and browser testing.
- Facilitate maintenance and update tasks.
Technologies Experience:
- WordPress: 4 years experience
- HTML CSS & JavaScript: 4 years experience
- PHP: 4 years experience
- MySQL Database Management & Development
- API integrations
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Learning Management Systems.
- Creation of custom plugins.
- Google Tag Manager Google Analytics and Goal Funnels.
