Job Description

JOB TITLE: Avionics Technician FIGHTER JET AVIONICS EXPERIENCE

LOCATION: Greenville SC

PAY RATE: $32.00 $38.00 per hour

Qualifying Questions:

  • Do you meet the jobs educational and experience requirements

  • Can you either commute to the job location or relocate for the position

Details:

  • 12month contract with opportunities for extension

  • Ability to work 1st or 2nd shifts (5:30am or 4pm 3:00pm1:30am).

Summary:

  • Perform a variety of tasks related to avionics mechanical electromechanical and system checks for aircraft delivery.

  • Work from schematics engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

  • Operate related equipment and conduct tests reporting data in the prescribed format.

  • Perform avionics testing wire routing and system checks on F16 aircraft before delivery.

  • Make adjustments modifications and replacements as directed.

  • Prepare necessary compounds and solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 6 years of avionics experience on fighter aircraft preferably F16s.

  • F16 experience (24 years preferred but not required).

  • Fighter experience with F16 F18 F22 or F35 (46 years preferred but not required).
