About the Department:
The Marketing Department within BYD Europe is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies specific to the European region and create comprehensive plans that resonate with the European target audience. Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility increase market share and drive business growth within the European market.
As Marketing Research Analyst (Position) you will: The Marketing Research Analyst reports directly to Marketing Research Section Manager. The Marketing Research Analyst is primarily responsible for providing realtime insights and quick turnaround analysis to help department understand the underlying market conditions provide appropriate action strategies for local markets build the brand and drive sales in the European market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing broad industry analyses identifying trends evaluating competition and reporting out on growth opportunities.
- Interpretation of data analyses derivation of suitable measures and recommendations for action.
- Conduct market research (industry analysis competitor analysis customer insights and forecasts) and complete customer brand analysis/insights.
- Establish good cooperation with sales channel support and marketing communication section to develop and implement various initiatives.
- Preparation of segment analysis and competitive product analysis of BYD models in the European competitive environment understand the European passenger car market and completed the analysis report.
- Complete the work of data support and information collection report on the market research analysis to superiors.
- Understand the market and industry dynamics in real time follow up the market and policy changes of the target market.
- Participate in the overall project of the business unit.
- Actively engage and collaborate on any European event or activity as needed.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members across different regions.
Your profile:
- University Degree in Marketing Statistics or similar field.
- 3 years of experience in roles related Marketing Research Analyst in Automobile Industry.
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization curiosity and enjoyment of figures and data.
- Working knowledge of statistics and modelling techniques with experience identifying trends and indicators through quantitative/qualitative analysis.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
- Resilient and open minded.
- Results oriented. Ability to work to deadlines hands on approach motivated to get results.
- Effective and eloquent communicator in English is mandatory (Other European languages and/or Mandarin Chinese would be a plus).
